Russellville School District. I have found out that the school district has a budget of 45 to 50 million dollars. Now that would make one wonder on what is happening with all that money. So I went to my first school board meeting in April and listened to how the meeting went and just set there, not being ostentatious and was more like a fly on the wall.

On July 10th and July 11th from 8:00 to ? we are holding a Yard Sale and BBQ sandwich fundraiser for the Humane Society of the Greater River Valley.

| On January 1, 2009 Furry Friends In Need will become The Humane Society of the Greater River Valley. |
Our office will open January 15th and be located at 1508 East Main, Unit B. It is behind the Sprint store between La Heurta and Burger King.
We will be opening a Thrift Shop to help raise money to buy land and build the shelter. Hours will be announced later.
Donations can ne brought to the office. There will not be any pets accepted or brought there. Besides monetary donations items needed are; dry and canned dog and puppy foods, dry and canned cat and kitten foods, leashes, collars, water and food bowls, towels, blankets and toys.
